Here are little tid-bits of info from behind the scenes and in general.  Some of this is accurate, but then again, some may not be.  More will be added as I find new info.  If you find any errors or have anything to share about the film, just let me know by clicking here.

Recently, I have had the privilege and the honor to have met someone who is  a close and personal friend of Ken Marschall during the time he was involved with the construction of the Titanic model.  His name is Robert Gibbons and he was at one time, President of the Titanic Historical Society.  I have received a ton of information about the actual construction of the model and some other miscellaneous information.  Over the next couple of updates, I will be posting that information here on the Trivia Page and some on the Goofs Page.  He also posted some of his inside Trivia on the Message Board.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

With so much information coming to me over the past several months, I had to break it down into 5 different sections.  Below, is a list of what is broken down and a description to follow.  This will be updated constantly.

  • Athinai-The ship that was used to double as the raised Titanic.

  • Locations-Various locations that were used for filming.

  • Malta-Information about the tanks and the studio that were used for the underwater & raised sequences.

  • Miscellaneous-Any information about the actors who were involved with the film and other tid bits of information.

  • Model-Information about the construction and the design of the model used in the film.

  • Press Kit-Information that came exclusively from the Press Kit.  (Added 4-14-2003)
