            The salvage crew on the Titanic and the tug crews are battling the wind to get the cable connection made

            before the storm hits.  They’re having a rough time but they’re making progress.

          RADIO TRANSMITTER SOUND.

            Two radio men are on duty.  CLAY has a set of headphones on listening.  He turns to the sailor behind him.

 

CLAY

                                                                        Call the bridge.  We’re getting a

                                                                        distress signal.
